The Converse County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Patrol Division is made up of five (5) patrol deputies and one (1) detention deputy.  They train regularly and spend time off-duty riding together. 

 

Training consists of horsemanship, obstacle courses, crowd control, search patterns and much more.  Mounted Patrol attends public relations events, conducts and assists with searches and provides patrol during large events along with other duties as needed.
